In under ten minutes, right in the app. Turn them around, compare with your photo, and ask for changes before you pay anything.

The one you make is yours: rebuilt in 3D from your photos, so the white sock, the one floppy ear and the way they sit are all theirs. It can even turn its head to look at you.
And when you keep your pet, ten little pixel-art cats and dogs come with it. Give them a name and they live on your desktop too: walking the Dock, napping on your windows, pouncing, and now and then putting on a very dramatic death.

Can I try it without photos of my pet?
Yes. Pick one of 22 ready-made cats and dogs in the app, from a French Bulldog to a Maine Coon, and see it on your desktop in 3D for free. Keep it for $19, once, and give it any name you like.
Which Macs does it run on?
Apple silicon Macs (M1 or later) on macOS 14 Sonoma or newer. One purchase covers up to 3 of your Macs.
Will it drain my battery?
It's built to be lighter than a browser tab. Your pet sleeps when you're away, slows down on battery, and never blocks a click or steals focus.
What happens to my photos?
They're used only to make your pet. We delete them 30 days after delivery, or straight away if you ask, and we never train on them unless you opt in.
What if it doesn't look like my pet?
You see your pet in 3D before you pay. If something's off, tell us what and we'll try again: two regenerations are included. And if it still isn't your pet, you get your money back.
How long does it take?
Usually five to eight minutes from adding photos to seeing your pet in 3D. You can close the app and we'll let you know when they're ready.
Do I make my pet on the website?
No, everything happens in the Mac app. Download it, sign in with a code we email you, and add your photos there. The website is just for downloading and your receipts.
Can I give one as a gift?
Gift codes are on the way. Until then, you can share a link to your own pet's 3D preview.
What are the pixel pets?
Ten little pixel-art cats and dogs that come with every pet you keep. They do everything your 3D pet does on the desktop, plus a few extras like pouncing and taking a bath. Pick one, give it a name, switch whenever you like.
Is it a subscription?
No. You pay once for your pet, and every new behaviour we add later is included.
Does it work on Windows?
Not yet. staywith.pet is Mac only for now, so we can make it feel at home there first.
