What makes a Corgi look like yours
A corgi is a big dog on short legs, and the details carry the look: upright ears that seem too large for the head, a white collar, a fox-like face and that famously fluffy rear.
Pembrokes and Cardigans differ, too. A Cardigan has a long brush of a tail and often comes in merle or brindle, while many Pembrokes have a short tail or none. We build your corgi from your photos, so whichever you have is the one you get.

The white collar and blaze
Red, sable and tricolour corgis often have a white collar, chest and blaze, positioned from your photos instead of a standard pattern.

A docked Pembroke, a natural bob or a Cardigan's long tail: your corgi's back end is built as the pictures show it.
Short legs, deep chest
The long, low body with a deep chest. A side photo taken at their height keeps the proportions right.
The best photos of your Corgi
Photograph your corgi from their level, not yours: kneel, or sit on the floor. For the side view, catch them standing still between walks, so the legs are not tucked under. A photo from behind is worth adding, because the rear is half the charm and hard to judge from the side. Then one front-on face photo with the ears up. If your corgi drops a lot of coat in spring, winter photos may show the shape better.

Questions
Does it work for corgi mixes?
Yes, corgi and husky, corgi and shepherd, and the many crosses with short legs and surprising colours all work, because each one is built from its own photos.
What if my corgi has unusual markings?
Merle patches, a white body with red spots, a partial collar or one white ear is taken from your photos. Show any unusual mark clearly in at least one picture.
Does it work for Cardigans as well as Pembrokes?
It does, because the app never starts from a breed model. The difference in tail, ears and coat comes straight from your photos.
My corgi's ears fold back when relaxed. Which way will they be?
They follow the photos you use. If you want the alert look, pick a face photo with both ears standing.
