What makes a Exotic Shorthair look like yours
The Exotic Shorthair is a Persian without the grooming: the same round, flat face, the same big eyes and small ears, but in a short, dense coat that stands away from the body like plush. The body is cobby and round, the legs short and sturdy.
Exotics come in cream, red, blue, black, silver, tabby, calico and colourpoint. A pet made from your photos keeps your cat's colour and face shape exactly. Our ready-made Exotic is cream with faint tabby markings.

The best photos of your Exotic Shorthair
Take the face photo close and at eye level: the flat face and the eyes are the whole character of an Exotic. Soft daylight keeps pale coats from turning white. For the side view, a photo of your cat standing or walking shows the round body better than one curled up asleep.

Does it work for Exotic Shorthair mixes?
Persian crosses and flat-faced mixes are built from their own photos, whatever the pedigree.
What if my Exotic Shorthair has unusual markings?
Calico, bicolour, tabby or a colourpoint mask are taken from your pictures.
Will such a flat face be modelled properly?
The close face photo decides it. Keep it sharp and at eye level, and two regenerations are free if it needs another go.
My Exotic has tear stains. Will the model have them?
Wipe the eyes first if you would rather leave them out; the model copies the photos.
Is an Exotic different from a Persian on the desktop?
The short plush coat gives a rounder, neater outline than a Persian's long fur, and that is what you see.
